The United Nations Traditional Medicine International Rescue Center Qingnang (China) Qingdao Center held a roundtable meeting on the deployment and arrangements for 2025

On February 4, 2025, at the beginning of the Lunar New Year of the Snake, the United Nations Traditional Medicine International Rescue Center Qingnang (China) Qingdao Center held a roundtable meeting in the New Year atmosphere to convey the spirit of the United Nations Traditional Medicine International Rescue Center meeting and the 2025 work deployment arrangements.

The meeting was themed “Concentrate and seek common development” and aimed to learn and implement the guiding ideology of the Chengdu Base Conference held by the rescue center headquarters on February 1, clarify the work goals and directions for the new year, and promote the Southeast Asia region of Qingnang (China) Qingdao Center to achieve high-quality development in the new year. The leaders of the Southeast Asian expert group, heads of various departments and core backbones from all over the country adopted online + roundtable meetings to participate in different ways to discuss the strategic planning and specific deployment for the new year.

At the beginning of the meeting, Dean Guo Zhengyuan, head of the Southeast Asian expert group of Qingnang (China) Qingdao Center, first summarized and conveyed the content of the Chengdu meeting on February 1 from five aspects: organizational attributes, new member admission standards, overseas work safety guarantees, and reward and punishment systems. And according to the spirit of the meeting, a comprehensive deployment of work in 2025 was made. He pointed out that while maintaining steady development in a complex and changing market environment, the Qingdao Center of Qingnang (China) has improved its quality, attracted high-end talents with both moral integrity and ability, and built a more competitive technical team.

First, the joint operation of the Sri Lanka Presidential Palace Imperial Hospital is an important breakthrough point, and strives to complete the first phase of the inspection from February 23 to 26, so as to ensure that the opening ceremony of the Sri Lanka Presidential Palace Imperial Hospital is completed before the headquarters holds the opening conference on April 13, and present a gift to the headquarters opening conference.

President Guo also emphasized that 2025 is the opening year of the Qingdao Center, and it must focus on the core strategy of “improving quality and efficiency, and coordinated development”, improve execution efficiency, and further optimize the internal coordination mechanism. Accelerate the layout of emerging markets, play the game of “medical to business, business to service”, deepen cooperation with various countries, and improve the satisfaction and sophistication of international rescue services. Promote the comprehensive development of various tasks.

In the roundtable discussion, the heads of various departments had a heated discussion on the work goals for the new year. Based on the information conveyed by President Guo Zhengyuan about the Chengdu meeting, Qu Xiuhua, Secretary-General of the Southeast Asian Expert Group, supplemented the meeting contents on unified products, drug trademarks, and training and assessment of new members; Dr. Cai Xiuwen, Deputy Head of the Southeast Asian Expert Group and Minister of Sri Lankan Affairs, analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei and other Southeast Asian countries with his 28 years of experience in Southeast Asia, and put forward some of his own ideas and plans for work; Professor Song Nan, Deputy Head of the Southeast Asian Expert Group and Minister of Malaysian Affairs, put forward implementation requirements from the aspects of organizational discipline, code of conduct, and financial system. He pointed out that formulating rules and regulations is only a form, and the ultimate goal is to take organizational discipline as a code of conduct, internalize it in the heart, and externalize it in action, so as to ensure the personal safety of organizational members and maintain the collective reputation of the organization; Minister Li Mulin of the Ministry of Commerce also made plans from the aspects of information, communication, and trade.

Minister Zhang Yulong of the Ministry of Thai Affairs, Minister Liu Lifeng of the Ministry of Vietnamese Affairs, Director An Hui of the Office of the Southeast Asian Expert Group and other heads of various departments made different reports and sharing.

The participants agreed that 2025 is both an opportunity and a challenge. Only by maintaining strategic focus, unity and close cooperation can we give the organization and ourselves a satisfactory answer.

At the end of the meeting, Team Leader Guo Zhengyuan delivered a summary speech. He emphasized that 2025 is a critical year for the development of Qingdao Center of Qingnang (China). All members must strengthen their confidence, be innovative, and devote themselves to work with greater enthusiasm and a more pragmatic attitude, striving for a good start in 2025. Together, we will push the Qingdao Center to a new height.

This roundtable meeting pointed out the direction and gathered consensus for the center’s work in 2025. At the new milestone, all members of the organization will meet challenges with a more high-spirited attitude, move towards the future with a more determined pace, and work tirelessly to achieve the goal of high-quality development!
